What we won’t automate
Most AI pitches promise everything. Here’s the list we lead with instead — the things we’ll tell you not to buy from us, because being right about what you need is worth more to us than a build fee.
Your pricing and your bids.
Math can assist. The call stays human. Anyone selling you AI that “does your bids” is selling you liability with a dashboard on it.
Anything that lives on paper and photos.
That’s a capture problem before it’s an AI problem. We’ll build you the field app when it’s worth building — or name the off-the-shelf one that fits and tell you to buy that instead. What we won’t do is pitch AI at paper.
Bookkeeping itself.
Solved category. QuickBooks and a good bookkeeper beat anything we’d build you. We automate what happens after the books are right.
One-person judgment calls.
Collections escalations. Anything HR. We’ll draft so it’s ready when you are — but a human decides, every time.
A chatbot for your website.
For a $5M service company it’s almost never the first dollar. You’ve probably been pitched one this month. Say no.
Why publish this?
Because we’d rather lose a build than be wrong about what you need. It’s also why the first thing we do automate comes with a guarantee: your first report lands correct within 14 days of kickoff, or month one is free.
